We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Service Technician. In this role, you will play an important part in keeping equipment, systems, and customer operations running smoothly through effective troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and service support. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and delivering a positive customer experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Inspect, diagnose, service, and repair equipment or systems according to company standards and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Perform routine maintenance, preventative service, and operational checks to help reduce downtime.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or technical issues using diagnostic tools and sound judgment.
  • Document service work accurately, including findings, repairs completed, parts used, and recommended follow-up actions.
  • Communicate clearly with customers, dispatch, and internal teams regarding service status, timelines, and solutions.
  • Order, track, and install required parts or materials as needed to complete service tasks.
  • Maintain company tools, vehicles, and service equipment in safe, clean, and working condition.
  • Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements while completing assignments.
  • Support on-site installations, inspections, calibrations, or adjustments as needed.
  • Provide professional and courteous service that reflects positively on the organization.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in a service, maintenance, repair, or technical support role is preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Comfort working with hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and technical documentation.
  • Basic computer skills for completing service reports, updates, and communication.
  • Ability to lift, move, and work with equipment or materials as required by the role.
  • Willingness to learn new systems, products, and procedures.
  • Valid driver’s license may be required, depending on the service area and responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical training, certification, or trade school background related to mechanical, electrical, HVAC, appliance, or equipment service.
  • Previous field service or customer-facing technical experience.
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and service documentation systems.
