Responsibilities

• Prospect for new Customers in a manner prescribed by Management
• Maintain client and prospect databases according to dealership standards
• Follow departmental procedures and complete paperwork using available systems tools
• Present new part opportunities during each visit
• Meet established performance criteria as established by Parts Manager
• Provide excellent customer service including problem identification and resolutions
• Obtains Parts Manager’s approval for any special pricing.
• Advises Parts Counter crew on delivery instructions.
• Acts as a public relations liaison for the dealership.
• Maintains professional appearance.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Automotive Parts experience
• Excellent communication skills both written/verbal and effective listening ability

An Automotive Retail Salesperson assists customers throughout the vehicle purchasing process, from initial contact to final delivery. This role focuses on building relationships, understanding customer needs, and delivering a transparent, compliant, and high-quality buying experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet customers and assist in-person and online - Identify customer needs and recommend vehicles - Conduct product presentations and test drives - Explain features, warranties, and add-ons - Complete sales transactions and documentation - Follow California compliance laws (DMV, TILA, etc.) - Meet sales goals and maintain customer relationships - Collaborate with F&I and dealership staff

Required Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent - Valid California driver’s license - Ability to obtain CA Vehicle Salesperson License - Sales or customer service experience preferred

• This position is responsible for pulling parts while adhering to safety procedures and providing accurate, timely shipments.
• Receive all parts that are shipped in, making sure they are received in good condition and packing slips match the part and quantity received
• Dispatch, pack and ship orders to internal and external customers in the most efficient manner
• Maintain shipping logs
• Stock all parts in the parts warehouse after they have been checked in
• Operate fork lift truck when necessary
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and update supplies as needed.

• 2 years parts/warehouse related experience preferred
